The 4 Days Toubkal & Ouanoukrim Climb begins with a transfer from Marrakech to Imlil, where you will meet the local team and start the trek towards Toubkal refuge, arriving in the afternoon. The second day involves an attempt to climb the highest peak in Northern Africa, Mount Toubkal, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After returning to the campsite, the third day involves climbing Mount Ouanoukrim, which provides a wonderful view of the Toubkal national park. The final night is spent in the Toubkal refuge before starting a gentle walk down the valley towards Imlil on the fourth day, where you will have lunch and then head back to Marrakech. Overall, the climb offers a challenging but rewarding experience with stunning scenery.

Itinerary

Day 1 Marrakech- Imlil -Toubkal refuge

Transfert from Marrakech at 8am heading to Imlil this will be about 1h40 min drive from marrakech. You will meet the local team in Imlil and Get a mint tea before starting walk towards Toubkal refuge. You will arrive to the refuge around 2 pm and have a lunch meal.

Day 2Mount Toubkal Climb 4167m

In the morning we make our attempt on the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our route takes us up the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. The views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the the summit you will see that the vistas across the surrounding landscape are quite breathtaking. From here there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. We will retrace our steps when we return down the mountain and spend the night at the camp nearby the refuge again.

Day 3Climb Mount Ouanoukrim

Today we will leave the refuge at 6am so as to climb Mount Ouanoukrim 4088m. This peak has a wonderful view on the west of the Toubkal national park. Returnback to the refuge and have a relaxing lunch. We will spend our last night in the refuge

Day 4Toubkal refuge - Imlil

Today we will start walking down the valley around 9am. It will be a gentle walk to Imlil valley where we will have lunch. Thenwe head to Marrakech.
