Embark on a thrilling 3-day journey from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert. The adventure begins with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a cinematic treasure, and continues to Ouarzazate’s Atlas Studios. We then explore the captivating Dades Valley before spending the night in a Berber family’s accommodation, immersing ourselves in an authentic experience. Day two brings us to the Toudra Gorges, a climber’s paradise, and culminates in a magical camel ride to a desert camp for a stunning sunset. The final day treats us to a sunrise spectacle before our return trip, passing through the Draa Valley’s kasbahs and the varied landscapes along the way to Marrakech.

We begin this exciting trip with a hearty Moroccan breakfast that will provide us with energy for the day. Our initial destination is Ouarzazate, but first we will stop at the impressive kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This architectural treasure, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, has been the setting for various film productions. After lunch, we will continue to Ouarzazate, which means noiseless in Berber. We will visit the famous Atlas Studios, where renowned international productions have been filmed. Finally, we will arrive at the beautiful Dades Valley, a place that will welcome us with its lush palm grove and majestic rock formations. The great beauty of this landscape will enrich our experience before arriving and resting in a Berber family’s accommodation.
The day promises excitement and wonder. After breakfast, we will head into the desert with a stop at the Toudra Gorges, a paradise for climbers. Here we adventure among ocher-colored rocky canyons that offer a stunning landscape. We will enjoy lunch en route as we continue our way to Merzouga. Upon arriving at sunset, we will embark on a magical camel ride to contemplate one of the most spectacular sunsets you have ever seen. The silence of the desert and the panoramic view will create an unforgettable experience. Then, we will arrive at our camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will sleep in authentic khaymas. after dinner The night will be full of music, drums and a starry sky.
We will wake up early to enjoy a spectacular sunrise. After a nutritious breakfast, we will begin our return trip to Marrakech. We will cross the famous Draa Valley, known for its kasbahs, a road full of architectural treasures. We will pass through the Anti Atlas Mountains and enjoy the changing landscapes along the way.
