This excursion explores the picturesque valleys of Imlil, Azzaden, Imnane, and Asni, beginning with a 7 am departure from Marrakech. Along the way, you’ll pass through the fertile Haouz plain, fragrant with olive, apricot, and apple orchards, as well as cereal crops.
The trek leads you through villages like Tachedirt, Matat, and Tizi Oussem, offering a glimpse of local life and beautiful landscapes. Highlights include the Tizi n Tamatert and Tizi n Oudid mountain passes, as well as the Ighouliden waterfalls. The journey concludes back in Imlil after about 5 hours of walking.

Pick up from your hotel in Marrakech. After the transfer from Marrakech to Imlil we start the trek. We walk from Imlil 1740m to Tachedirt 2300m via Tizi n Tamatert mountain pass 2279m , 4 hours walking. Night in local guesthouse.
Tachedirt to Matat village 1800m down the Imnane valley crossing a lot of villages ; Ounskra, Tamguiste , Ikkis, Amssakrou and then crossing pass of aguersioual down to Ait mizan Valley, 5 hours walk. Night in local guesthouse.
Matat 1800m to Tizi oussem 1900m via Tizi n oudid mountain pass 2200m, , Ait Aissa village (Azzaden valley). 4 hours walk. Night in local guesthouse.
Tizi oussem 1900m to Imlil 1740m via Ighouliden waterfalls and Tizi M’zzikmountain pass 2450m. 5 hours walk.
